Look at these 2 enjoying a relaxing dip in their Lazy Spa cake.
This is a 10" round cake carved to form the curved shape of the Lazy Spa. They look really chilled in this cake. I also made a small BBQ complete with sausages, burgers & a T-bone steak ( perfect!).

80th Birthday cake for a Town Fan
This cake was for an 80th Birthday. The ladies son said that she was a lifelong Ipswich Town Fan and loved to watch TV. So, this sugar model shows the lovely lady sitting in front of her television, with her remote & mobile and a cuppa tea. I made the scene on a cake card so that it could be kept, as I can't imagine anyone wanting to eat themselves.
If you could be replicated in sugar what would you be wearing?

Vintage Pin-up girl
I will start my Blog with my cake of the moment a 1950's pin-up girl. This cake was a 12" square vanilla sponge which I covered with a 'Nude' coloured icing.
The image was copied from a 1950's glamour magazine, and totally free-hand painted with edible paints.
I love creating something different and getting back to my Fine art roots, just give me some paint brushes and watch me create a picture. The lettering was taken from a Vintage poster and adapted, then hand painted with Midnight black dust/ rejuvenator fluid combo.
The cake was finished off with a string of Ivory sugar pearls, and an ivory & black satin ribbon with a bow to the side.
I love it and I hope you do too!
